I'm really impressed with the direction you took this project. As fermenter I didn't see or read about a relief vent or a regulator for off gassing during fermentation.
I thought it might be an idea to the drain with a valve and an adapter to collect the yeast and trub.
Additionally I thought a coil would be a good method to cool or maintain temperature in the vessel. overall I give this project 9.0 this was a very clever idea.
